Day-Use Route Through Gaylord Opryland Christmas

Christmas at Gaylord Opryland runs November 6, 2026 to January 2, 2027. ice! features Home Alone this season. A day visit runs on four published rules: buy before you arrive, book the slot, park once, and read the 3:00 p.m. line on a peak date.

No box office

The resort FAQ states the rule. All tickets must be purchased in advance at Tickets.GaylordOpryland.com. The resort has no on-site box office. Tickets arrive by email as electronic tickets. A guest shows the ticket on a phone at entry. The ticket page adds that parking is not included in admission.

Charge the phone before the drive. The FAQ warns that the attraction holds 9 degrees Fahrenheit and asks guests to check the cold tolerance of their phone and camera. A lens can fog for a few minutes on the way out.

The 20-to-40-minute stop

ice! takes most guests 20 to 40 minutes. The ticket page prints the same window and sets no limit on time inside. The walk-through holds ten scenes from the film carved from two million pounds of ice. Two-story slides stand inside, plus a child-sized slide. A complimentary calf-length parka comes in sizes from infant to adult 4XL. Closed-toe shoes are required for the slides. Long pants and warm shoes help. The pathways are carpeted.

The slides require walking up steps unassisted. The FAQ describes the other elements of the attraction as fully accessible. Admission is single-entry, so an exit ends the visit.

Book the slot first

The FAQ asks guests to arrive at least five minutes early. Entry cannot be guaranteed for a guest more than five minutes late. Allow time for parking and the walk. Pick the slot after the drive time. The attraction sits in the Gaylord Opryland Events Center.

Parking is a separate purchase. Self-parking runs $37 a day and valet $55 a day, with tax additional. Day guests pay per entry. In-and-out privileges belong to overnight guests.

Prepaid parking sells at $29 for a single day. It covers day visitors only and carries no refund. The prepaid rate does not admit a holder to the campus after 3:00 p.m. on a peak date. A ticketed event reservation covers that window.

The 3:00 p.m. line

Resort access after 3:00 p.m. CT is guaranteed for overnight guests and for indoor or outdoor ticket reservation holders on these dates: every Friday and Saturday beginning November 20, daily November 23 to 26, and December 18 to 31, 2026. A visitor holding neither a room nor a ticketed reservation arrives before 3:00 p.m. on those dates and stays into the evening.

The FAQ lists dates with no line: November 6 to 19, November 22, November 29 to December 3, December 6 to 10, December 13 to 17, and January 1 to 2, 2027.

Where a day room earns its rate

The Dayuse Nashville listing carried 20 cards on a 24 October 2026 read. Rates ran $66 to $170, mean $96.80. Booking fees of $0 to $10 come inside the rate. Distances below are straight-line from the Gaylord Opryland pin, not routed driving miles.

Cashless, and one dining limit

Table-service dining reservations are exclusive to overnight resort guests during the holidays. The Chill Pass gives overnight guests front-of-line access at ice! and is not sold.

Day-guest tickets carry no refund. The FAQ allows a request to move to another date or time by replying to the confirmation email before the booked slot.

The evening show and the order to book

POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance runs at the Tennessee Ballroom Theater from November 24 to December 31, 2026. The show runs 65 minutes, and 26 international performers appear. The ticket page asks guests to arrive early for parking, a pre-show experience and seating. Entry pauses once the performance starts.

Order of operations for a day trip: pick the date against the peak-date list, buy the ice! slot and the cirque seat in one session, take the prepaid parking, then book the day room around the slot. A 15:00 to 21:00 window at 2401 Brick Church Pike covers a cirque evening and a place to charge the phone that holds every ticket. A 10:00 to 17:00 window at 2617 McGavock Pike covers the ice! visit and the lights on foot.
