Four clocks on one Sunday

The Texas Country Music Awards take Billy Bob's Texas on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026. The venue record publishes four times: doors at 2 p.m., event start at 5 p.m., showtime at 7 p.m. and live music at 8 p.m. The venue sits at 2520 Rodeo Plaza, Fort Worth, Texas 76164, inside the Fort Worth Stockyards. The same record names the Honky Tonk Kitchen, the gift store and live bull riding as the rest of the building.

Checkout at the partner hotels runs to noon. The doors open at 2 p.m. A day room covers that gap, and it covers the hours on either side of it.

How a day block is sized

A day-use booking names its own start hour and its own end hour. The guest picks the window, and the room is ready at the hour booked. hotelSlots lists 255 hotels in Fort Worth, takes one request per stay and returns offers from properties that can serve the block.

The priced layer returned 14 Fort Worth properties on Oct. 26, 2026, at $55 to $177 a block, mean $84.14, with the booking fee inside each quoted figure. All 14 publish at least one window that spans the 2 p.m. door.

Four blocks ran to the showtime

Four of the 14 started before the door and ran to 7 p.m. or later. The Courtyard by Marriott Fort Worth Historic Stockyards sells 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at $177 and sits 0.10 straight-line miles from the Billy Bob's pin. Quality Inn West Fort Worth runs 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at $55. Sonesta Simply Suites Fort Worth runs 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at $66. Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Fossil Creek runs noon to 8 p.m. at $75.

Three more ran 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed an hour before the showtime: DoubleTree by Hilton Fort Worth South at $86, SureStay Plus by Best Western Fort Worth Benbrook at $71 and Best Western Plus Fort Worth North at $80. Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Worth Downtown publishes 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at $123, which ended an hour after the doors and four hours before the showtime. It sits 2.78 straight-line miles from the venue.

Late windows covered the return. DoubleTree South sells 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. as a second block, La Quinta Inn & Suites Fort Worth Forest Hill sells 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Comfort Suites Fort Worth North Fossil Creek sells 5 p.m. to midnight. A guest who wants a shower after the live music books the late window. A guest who wants to arrive ready for a 2 p.m. door books the morning one.

The day-use product describes the offer as pay by the hour or block, with morning, afternoon or full-day slots and full hotel amenities: pool, gym, Wi-Fi and shower access. It states block rates run 40 to 60 percent below overnight prices.

Parking at the venue

Billy Bob's Texas publishes its own lot at near 20 acres, across Stockyards Boulevard and directly east of Cooper's BBQ. All vehicles are welcome, including RVs, and the main lot holds 22 spaces set aside for handicap parking. Parking costs $7 Monday through Wednesday, $10 on Thursday and $15 Friday through Sunday, plus fees. Valet runs Friday and Saturday nights at $20 plus fees. PMC Parking controls the prices and the facilities from May 1, 2026, at 940-594-7357.

The venue publishes eight miles from downtown Fort Worth.

The programme inside

The doors open at 2 p.m. and the room fills before the showtime. The awards show starts at 7 p.m. and the live music at 8 p.m. The venue keeps the Honky Tonk Kitchen and the gift store open, and bull riding runs in the building. A guest who arrives at the 2 p.m. door has five hours of that before the ceremony begins.

The earlier stop on Exchange Avenue

The district runs its daily longhorn cattle drive at 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., free to watch, down East Exchange Avenue. The 11:30 drive lands before the 2 p.m. door and sits a short walk from Rodeo Plaza. A guest who books a morning block can check in, walk the drive, and reach the venue for the door.

Getting to Rodeo Plaza

TEXRail stops at North Side Station, 2829 Decatur Ave., off NE 28th Street. The Stockyards district names the Orange Line stop at N.
