Hall A, Free Entry, One Job

The BMW Dallas Marathon Health and Fitness Expo presented by Cumulus Media runs in Hall A at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, 650 S Griffin Street. Friday December 11, 2026 runs 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday December 12, 2026 runs 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission into the expo is free.

The expo carries the race packets. The organiser states that no packet pick-up is available on race morning and that all packets must be collected at the expo. Friday and Saturday are the only two chances to collect one.

The Saturday Clock

Saturday December 12 holds five events, all starting and finishing at Dallas City Hall Plaza, 1500 Marilla Street. The 10K goes at 8:00 AM. The 5K and 5K Team Challenge go at 8:10 AM. The 5K Walk goes at 8:15 AM. The Kid 100 Meter Dash goes at 10:00 AM. The Oncor Kid Race goes at 11:00 AM. The time limit is one hour for the 5K and two hours for the 10K.

Sunday December 13 holds the full marathon, the half marathon, the half marathon walk and the 50K ultra, all at 8:00 AM from the same plaza. Race weekend runs December 11 to 13. The convention centre date block reads December 11 to 12, which is the expo window.

Where the Day Splits at Noon

The Pegasus Runners Lounge sells a Saturday pass for 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM at $44 and a Sunday pass for 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM at $74. A Saturday runner who buys the pass clears out at noon.

Noon to 6:00 PM is the block a day room covers. The expo holds six more hours, the runner has a finish to recover from, and the drive home waits on the far side of both.

Five Cards Near the Hall, With Their Windows

Dayuse lists 20 priced properties on its Dallas page. The five below carry a street address on their own Dayuse page and sit inside four miles of 650 S Griffin Street. Rates, comparison figures and windows are the card values read at 21:05 UTC on 22 October 2026. Distances are straight-line from the convention centre address.

Comfort Inn & Suites Dallas Medical-Market Center, 1521 Inwood Road, 75247: $71 against $97, 33 percent off, a $6 fee, windows at 08:00 to 16:00, 10:00 to 18:00 and 12:00 to 20:00, and 3.79 miles. The 12:00 to 20:00 window opens on the lounge close and runs past the expo close.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Dallas Downtown at Baylor Scott & White, 3301 Gaston Avenue, 75246: $102 against $300, 69 percent off, a $7 fee, windows at 08:00 to 15:00, 10:00 to 17:00 and 17:00 to 23:00, and 1.59 miles.

Hyatt Regency Dallas, 300 Reunion Boulevard, 75207: $160 against $290, 49 percent off, a $10 fee, one window of 09:00 to 17:00, and 0.46 miles.

The Stoneleigh, Autograph Collection, 2927 Maple Avenue, 75201: $168 against $350, 55 percent off, a $10 fee, one window of 09:00 to 16:00, and 1.66 miles.

Hotel Crescent Court, 400 Crescent Court, 75201: $230 against $600, 64 percent off, a $10 fee, one window of 09:00 to 17:00, and 1.40 miles.

Two checks belong beside those five. The hotelSlots Dallas directory lists 790 hotels and shows 24 cards to a page. One card on the Dayuse page, Embassy Suites Dallas Market Center, is breadcrumbed to Los Angeles.

Arriving on DART

The organiser travel page carries one transit line: if traveling via DART on race day, the closest train station to the start and finish line is the Akard Station. The Akard Street and Pacific Avenue pin sits 0.55 miles straight-line from 650 S Griffin Street. The convention centre parking page states that DART service is available for events at the building.

Arrive by train and walk the last half mile on Saturday morning. The expo opens at 9:00, an hour after the 5K and 10K waves go.

Parking When You Drive

The on-site garage costs $20 at Memorial Drive and S Griffin Street, with two levels and 1,200 spots. Lot C costs $17 at 502 S Lamar Street, with 170 spots. The venue prices both per day, per entry, with no in and out. Both are first-come, first-served.

The no-in-and-out rule sets the cost of a shower. A driver who leaves the hall for a room and returns pays the garage entry a second time, which puts the garage plus a $71 room at $111 for the day.

The rideshare point is the Lower C Driveway between Lamar and Griffin Streets.

What Hall A Provides

Free Wi-Fi runs in all common areas and meeting rooms, on a network named Free Internet. The building is cashless, with ATMs at Level 2, A Lobby and Level 2, C Lobby. The building holds no on-site business center. The Omni Dallas next door holds a UPS Business Center. The amenities page lists no locker, bag check, coat check or storage service.

An expo bag stays with you through the hall. The room you book is where it goes afterwards.

Before You Book

hotelslots.org sells four slots: Morning 6am to 12pm, Afternoon 12pm to 6pm, Evening 6pm to 12am, and Overnight 12am to 6am. The platform states 103,857 hotels across 46 states, rates 30 to 75 percent below the nightly figure, and no fees. The Dayuse cards show a booking fee of $5 to $10, and hotelSlots states that you pay the hotel directly.

Its day-use page says pool, gym, Wi-Fi and shower access are included, and its short-stay guide says those extras can vary by property. Confirm the amenity list on the listing.

Ask the property two things: the hour the key goes back, and whether the bag can stay at the desk after the window ends. Then collect the packet before 6:00 PM on Saturday.
