The Cowgirl Gathering runs November 12 to 16, 2026 across two sites in North Texas. Three competition days sit at The Ranch at NRS in Decatur. The closing evening sits at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, 1720 Gendy Street in Fort Worth. The two halves sit in different counties, so a day block has two separate windows to serve.
The published clocks
Marked For Greatness Properties stages the event. The barrel race runs November 12 and 13 at The Ranch at NRS, with $39,500 added. Team roping runs November 14, with $10,000 added. Breakaway roping runs November 15, with $21,500 added. The Cowgirl Conversation runs 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 16 at the museum, with cocktails, live music, panel discussions and networking. The online art show, juried by Cowgirl Artists of America, opens September 1 and closes November 16.
The organiser publishes no per-session clock for the three Decatur days. Visit Fort Worth's event record carries one time against the opening day: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, with the same date closing the record. Treat 8 a.m. as the earliest published start and confirm the draw with the organiser on 817-222-6411.
The Decatur day
Decatur carries no priced day-use inventory. dayuse.com's hourly layer returns a 404 for the town. Decatur's centre measures about 36 straight-line miles northwest of the museum. The ranch site publishes no coordinates, so read the 36 miles as the town rather than the gate. A Fort Worth base means a drive out and a drive back on each competition day.
The museum evening
November 16 is the day the room earns its keep. The Conversation opens at 5 p.m. and closes at 8 p.m., which leaves an afternoon with no schedule in it. A block booked from late morning gives a place to change out of travel clothes, charge a phone, park a truck off the street and reach Gendy Street on foot.
The nearest priced card to the museum is Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Worth Downtown at $123, on a 10:00 to 15:00 block, 2.37 straight-line miles out. That block clears before the 5 p.m. door. Courtyard by Marriott Fort Worth Historic Stockyards runs 11:00 to 19:00 for $177, 3.51 straight-line miles from the museum, which covers the opening and one hour of the Conversation.
The priced inventory
Fourteen Fort Worth properties publish a day rate on the hourly layer, read on October 26, 2026. The floor is Quality Inn West Fort Worth at $55 and the ceiling is the Stockyards Courtyard at $177. The mean is $84.14 and the median is $75, with the booking fee inside each figure. Twelve of the fourteen publish a block that covers 11:00 to 17:00. Eight run to 20:00 or later.
hotelSlots lists 255 Fort Worth properties in its directory. The product is a block of hours: morning, afternoon, evening or overnight slots, priced 30 to 75 percent below the nightly rate at the same property.
Packages, and two statements about tickets
The Cowgirl Conversation Ticket Package costs $100. It carries one seat at the Conversation, one ticket to the Welcome Reception, a catered lunch and refreshments, and entry to the VIP Cocktail Hour. The Cowgirl Crusader package costs $1,500 and carries four of each, plus four VIP seats at the fashion show. Cowgirl Couture costs $2,500 and carries eight. The schedule publishes a clock for the Conversation alone, so treat reception, lunch and fashion-show times as unpublished.
The tickets page prints a line saying tickets and the full schedule will drop soon, directly above a schedule of events that lists the whole week. Read the schedule, then confirm the detail with the organiser.
Partners for the overnight stay
The organiser recommends the Stockyards for overnight stays and names five properties: Courtyard Fort Worth Historic Stockyards at 2537 N Main Street, Hotel Drover at 200 Mule Alley, Hyatt Place Fort Worth Historic Stockyards at 132 E Exchange Avenue, SpringHill Suites at 2315 N Main Street, and TownePlace Suites Fort Worth Downtown at 805 E Belknap Street. Those are nightly bookings. A day-use block is a separate purchase against the same building, sized to the hours between a morning draw and an evening door.
Book the block for the day the schedule actually uses. On the arena days the useful window starts at the earliest published 8 a.m. On the Monday it starts at midday and ends before 5 p.m. One booking cannot serve both shapes.
