Where the bag goes at the door
Bridgestone Arena stands at 501 Broadway in Nashville. Its bag policy bars backpacks of any size. Bags larger than 12 by 12 by 6 inches stay outside. Bags measuring between 6 by 4 by 1.5 inches and 12 by 12 by 6 inches go through x-ray screening and visual inspection. Smaller bags use the express lanes. Diaper bags and bags carried for medical reasons enter through x-ray.
The arena states the consequence in the same paragraph. Prohibited items mean no entry. Bridgestone provides no on-site storage, and the page asks guests to plan ahead and allow extra time.
Five days on the calendar
The SEC men's basketball tournament runs March 10 to March 14, 2027 at the arena. The conference announced the Nashville dates with its 2027 league schedule. Sixteen member schools play the bracket, and March 14 falls on a Sunday.
Two sessions, one bag
A fan holding tickets to a midday session and an evening session carries one bag through both. The bag clears screening once. A room inside walking distance takes the bag at check-in and returns it after the last game, and the hours between sessions stay free.
What a day-use booking covers
hotelSlots sells four slots a day: morning, afternoon, evening and overnight. The platform charges no booking fee, quotes rates up to 75 percent below the nightly rate, and carries 222 properties in its Nashville directory. The network lists 103,857 hotels across 46 states. The guest pays the hotel for the hours booked.
Price the trip both ways. A five-night hold covers the tournament run at one nightly rate. A day-use window covers the hours of one game day at the rate the hotel quotes for that window, and three windows cover the three days a ticket actually uses.
The clock the arena has not set
The arena has not posted session times for March 2027. The box office answers at 615.770.7800 and opens on event days only. Book the window for the shape of the day. A window opening at 10:00 covers a midday session and the hours either side. A window closing at 17:00 hands the room back before an evening session starts.
Three questions for the hotel
Confirm the start and end hour in writing. Confirm the room is ready at the start hour. Confirm the property holds a bag before the window opens, because the arena's storage line applies at every event it hosts.
Book the window that covers both sessions, then set the boundary from the session clock once the arena publishes it.
